What does 'leadership' mean to your students? Is it teamwork, integrity, purpose, direction or motivation? Having heard these words thousands of times, this video, correctly titled The Challenge, will provide your students the opportunity to show you what they've got. Each user assumes the roles of four unique students in a weeklong leadership training camp offered at your school: Sonia is a model student and a great leader - as long as everyone else is already willing to follow; Warren, a Jr. ROTC cadet, has been taught the finer points of leadership - but has problems when leadership and friendship collide; Mike has many hidden talents, especially his ability to hide these talents, and people skills are not included; and Jamie has people skills galore but what she chooses to do with them is up to your student.

Your students will assume the role of both a leader and a follower, as an individual and as part of a team. In this program, choices made have the power to win respect, knowledge, satisfaction and a scholarship, but also the power to lose—almost everything. But the ending isn't written yet. What happens next is up to each of them.
